My appologies to Newfoundlanders, and I always pronounce that New FOUND landers, as it should be. I had a housemate from Newfoundland, who vanished off the planet, leaving behind a large collection of furniture and clothing that I had to deal with.
I have been informed by several Canadians that Newfoundlanders aren't Canadian. I don't agree. But it's worth a mention.
