Aine - this tape actualy has other voices on it! and instumentation! *gasp* it's the result of a fund raising project for a camp I am/was/may be involved with, and all the songs are ones that staff and campers actually sang at camp. there are a dozen songs on the tape, if I remember correctly, and I think 6 or 7 of them are original by one staff member or another. At least one is an english translation of a Native American chant and yet another is Native American, but I don't know what tribe....

between 14 and 18 people involved in the taping of EACH number....and for most of us it was the first time ever in a recording studio, period, let alone recording. Did a twelve hour day the first day, a fourteen hour day the second and did the whole tape that weekend. AND halfway through the taping, we met the new camp director, her first introduction to most of the staff....it's a wonder we didn't scare her off! The song I wrote that's on it, they came up with background chords and an arrangement 15 minutes before we recorded. The cut that's on the tape is only the second time I ever sang it with the instrumentation OR additional singers...
