You know, I think this time in the history of the US is an excellent opportunity for those of us who remain here to learn some very valuable lessons. I was watching a movie yesterday about a man from a former soviet country who was forced by a small minded US immigrations offical to live in an airport terminal for nine months. He spoke very little English, but by golly, he understood the bureaucratic process.
