Joe, the words for the song are quite different than the actual poem, although many of the phrases are similar or the same. And, of course, the song is much shorter. I don't know about any other Service poems put to music, and I don't have a recording of this one. I hope to do a recording of Dangerous Dan once I nail down the lyrics.
