I haven't read this whole thread, enough to recognize that I need it. So I hate that my only daughter's wedding was so orthodox that I wasn't allowed under the Chuppa because I'm not Jewish. I hate Religious intolerance and exclusivity. I hate that some people's religious self-righteousness has done a LOT of damage to my own family of origin, including my nephews & nieces (Barky excluded), and even my own kids.

I also really hate the outcome of the recent election -- except for the Colorado state legislature, which was good.

I hate that I no longer trust the central, essential pillars of US government, like our electoral system, which I think is riddled with holes and unfairnesses, and our Justice system, which seems to be listing very badly to starboard, imho. I no longer trust our democracy, and I hate that.

I hate being broke all the time.

I hate that what money I got from my late parents I've managed to dissipate, even though I got a decent education and a BA out of it. I just hate that it's gone and that there isn't going to be any more easy money.

I hate that so many people think that SUVs are an acceptable solution to the problem of needing transportation, and that as a society we have no constraints on that kind of waste and destruction -- or on any other waste or destruction, either.

I hate that the environmental protection laws are going up in smoke.

There's more but that's enough. If I keep going I won't be able to sleep.
