All it takes to get labeled as a "paragon of the left" or "a member of the liberal media" is to report things as they are, not just parrot the administration line, and to point out things that people really need to know, but that other people (politicians, CEOs, etc.) hope will slip by unnoticed.

Bill Moyers is one of the few honest journalists left. That, by itself, is enough to cause others to try to trash him.
