Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Red is the blood
HISTORY LESSON, by Leon Rosselson, contains the line "Red the lines of Wellington's army." It has already been posted here.
Sung by the Three City Four (Martin Carthy, Leon Rosselson, Ralph Trainer and Marion MacKenzie) in 1965 on their album "Three City Four." This track was re-released in 2001 on the anthology "The Carthy Chronicles." Leon Rosselson recorded this song himself on his albums "Palaces of Gold" (1975) and "Perspectives" (1997).
