Sonnet 06/06/03                         DCCCXXIX

Dreamer of dreams, I cherish all of you,
As you are now, and as you wish to be.
I want you near, that I might know as true
That eyes dance with the stars, and your dreams free.
I think of you, awake and in my dreams,
And know you are not far away, in thought.
Yet, I wish I might find if your kiss seems
As sweet as imagined ones I have sought.
Do I see what others do not? I know
Only that I find you to be muse, sweet
And caring: Dreams of you are lights that show
A path to heart's desires that hopes might greet.
I would not want to ever say goodbye:
Nor would I ever seek to see you cry.
