Christmas is still a great time for the kids! It is also a time for families to get together which can for some be an absolute pleasure and others a real pain. It is a time of excess for some, for which there is a price to be paid. It is a time of financial outlay which can be difficult(It was a little for me this year as I had to pay out an extra £200 for new spectacles.....must call it my Christmas present to me). I have spent a large amount of money on presents, a smaller amount of money on cards...have written dozens of cards and posted around 40.....it goes on!
Christmas...for me..is the time of year when I celebrate the birth of Jesus! It could be so much simpler but who wants to be a party-pooper.
