Sonnet 20/06/03                                DCCCXXXI

I love all of my muse: How can I choose
What gives my dreams their light? Must I decide
What gives my visions form? Can heart refuse
Even a single strand of hair, or hide
How much I seek to hold all of her near?
I cannot not desire her: She holds heart
Within those eyes. My visions become clear,
That I will not with hope for muse e'r part.
I think of her, wanting to know her dreams,
Wanting to feel her touch: She is the source
And goal of heart's desire. How can I tell
How sweet the dream of holding her now seems?
I know that heart cannot withstand the force
That her eyes offer, when they cast their spell.
