I met a man named Santa, and he'd pose with you,
In a red suit.
Silver hair, a red jacket, a long white beard,
and big black boots.
He'd fly so high, oh, he'd fly so high,
and then he'd "Ho ho ho!"

I met him in a Sears in Alaska, he was
down and out.
He looked to me to be the eyes of age,
as he spoke right out.
He talked of elves, yeah, he talked of elves,
smiled, "Ho ho ho"'ed and stepped.

He made toys for the girls and boys at County Fairs,
throughout the South,
He spoke in tears of eight reindeer, how they and him
just flew about.
