Remember some years ago the son of a friend (similar problem but different). He was addicted to daytime television, not the programmes, the commercials!
I remember his mother drawing herself up to look disapproving when he was acting up at a meal-time, and Philip saying when he saw the look on her face 'My gurgle is killing me'. (Playtex girdle add running at the time!).
Everything dissolved into laughter, sometimes I think he was smarter than all of us.
