Sins, I told Karen about your light propblem and we both agree it's good to have friends who aren't too proud to admit that they have the same problems we do. Yes, they wash.....just do as Mario says and let them dry well before you plug them in. It's a lot easier than cleaning a similarly attacked toaster.
