I hate to keep driving by these towns and not playing ... there must be a venue or two for a folk/celtic/bluegrass sort-of player like me in this area. I haven't found any, though.

When I head to NM or AZ coming from Dallas I always end up driving through this area and often spending the night ... any thoughts about where I might earn a buck on my way through? Or at least meet some folkies and play some music?

I know the radio station there's played a few tracks from my CDs ... obviously a DJ of superior intellect and refined tastes!
