We have a number of lyrics here owed to Al O'Donnell, and I have a couple of wornout tapes of his early albums -- but there is virtually nothing about him on the Net or in the reference books I have consulted. He is obviously well known as a traditional player in Dublin, and has earned all kinds of respect. Does anyone know anything about him?
