I posted this on another thread, and I'm not sure it's worth reapeating. But I heard this 40 some years ago, sung by a small girl on a childrens' television show.

Rudolf the red nosed cowboy
Had a very shiney gun
And if you ever saw it,
You would turn around and run.
All of the other cowboys
Used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolf
Join in any poker games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
The sherriff came to say,
"Rudolf with your gun so bright,
would you kill my wife tonight?"
Then how the cowboys loved him.
And they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolf the red nosed cowboy,
you'll be hanging from a tree."
