I found a more complete description of the soundtrack here. It lists several songs/tunes, but I can't tell which one might be the one you want. Anyway, it indicates there was a soundtrack album, but it's probably now out of print: Varese Sarabande CD VSD-70470, 1988 (US) or That's Entertainment Records CDTER 116, 1989 (UK).
