Thread Name: BS: Putting My House In Order
Subject: RE: BS: Putting My House In Order
The gift of music... that's wonderful, Jen. My gospel quartet sang at the wake for the son-in-law of one of the members of the group. Music is a beautiful way to remember the good in other's lives, and to
give comfort. There's a wonderful song by the Stanley Brothers, Who Will Sing For Me? that I've been meaning to learn. Maybe I'll set aside a few minutes today and finally write down the words and post them. The song is asking whether friends will sing at the person's funeral. There's a thread on that, too... probably should add the song.

We also do a song I wrote with the opening lines:

"It's a long and a lonesome journey
On a rough and a rocky road
It's not made for the weak, or the faint of heart
You have to carry such a heavy load"
