Is it just me or do films these days tend to be enjoyable but easily and quickly forgotten? Lots of good ideas, action, acting - 'bells and whistles' etc. There was one we went to see that I really stuggled to recall much about at all - even its title (The Village). Perhaps many always were forgettable in this way but it would be interesting to know what folk consider to be the most unforgettable ones?

Saw the Incredibles last night. A real treat in so many ways but I wonder how well and for how long I will remember it? 10 years to make - two hours to watch and forgotten in how long?
