Hi, Chanteychick -

It's not too far to go to the Florida Folk Festival in May. I've been there, and really enjoyed it.

The Will McLean Festival is in March; and the South Florida Acoustic and Folk Festival comes up in mid-January (don't know anything about that one). The Gamble Rogers Festival is at the end of April, in St. Augustine.

You're also not too far from Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC - held late in April. Friends who have attended Merlefest say it's extraordinary.

There's also the Charlie Poole Music Festival in Eden, NC - late in May. I've heard this one is extremely good, too.

OK, Steph - so stop complaining already, and get out and do some music!!
