Or just type in the bracket-surrounded br, select it, hit Ctrl + C to copy, and hit Ctrl + V to paste at end of each line. If you assign a shortcut key, the paste can be reduced to a single keystroke, and you won't have to limit your paste command, or make a fresh copy for each song.

Since this thread has been started, perhaps it could be dedicated to trial runs of one or the other of these techniques. Wouldn't it make Dick's life a bit simpler when he goes trolling through the threads each day for lyrics to add to the DT, if we all made the modest effort required to learn how to do this?
