I worked for two years in a large record department (anyone remeber the E.J. Korvette discount chain?) from 1966 to 1968.
Mono LPs sold for $2.79
Stereo Lps sold for $3.79
Those highbrow classical albums on labels such as Angel, Duetche Grammaphone, and RCA Red Seal were a buck more at $4.79
