Ask that of someone who was forced to sit in the back of the bus because of the colour of his skin.

Ask that of someone who worked to get some birds back from the brink of extinction because of high concentrations of DDT in their eggs.

Ask that each time an area is set aside as a another park in order to protect habitat.

Ask the Vietnamese people if they preferred then to now.

I never believed in fairy tale endings but some things definitely changed for the better. However, you don't just blow your wad and then figure you've done your bit and sit back on your ass. Its a little too early to tell and as such, I'm not ready to write it off yet.
