I miss the music. It was music not commercial rubbish. I miss the faith that we could make the world better. I miss the styles. Now I can finally afford a leather vest with lots of fringe I can't wear one. Oh, and how I miss my peasant dresses. I was a great one for peasant dresses.
When the 60s began all kinds of discrimination was OK, Blacks, Jews, Catholics, the disabled, the just plain odd, were victims of a society that said a good person was a good white Protestant, who could work for General Motors.
When the 70s began, that notion was well on the way out. Good riddance!
