Georgiansilver, you said it better than I. The 60's "permissive society" led to the AIDS epidemic. But the "permissive society" came out of 1960s style rationale and rebellion.

When I say that the backlash is being felt now, believe it. The permissive society that led to the tolerance of the gay and lesbian lifestyles and it's effects on the deterioration family values were voiced loud and clear in our last election.
