Jerry, congrats on the longevity of your gospel group! I too sing what some call gospel but actually it is contemporary Christian, i.e. Susan Ashton, Nicole Nordeman, et al. Also I have a rendition of "It Is Well With My Soul" that I love to do. And my friend DeAnna and I do an a cappella version of "In The Garden" that we have seen bring audiences to tears. That is the most enjoyable part to me, is to see people actually moved, as I am sure you understand. We had been running a weekly Gospel show in Fort Worth a few years ago, but the owner who had at first given us full reign decided that he would start inviting people to sing on it who would often dress inappropriately, or would sing songs that were not actually giving glory to God, and he was trying to overcharge people to come see it instead of doing a "Love offering" and letting people be lead to pay, so we stepped down. We also sing country here in Texas, but stuff at church is more enjoyable to my spirit. Keep up the good work! Susu
