Being that it was on Friday night and Saturday, I followed my usual Sabbath rituals which I do every week year round. One advantage to living in an all Orthodox Jewish neighborhood is that you don't hear the firecrackers waking you up at midnight when the ball drops. By the way, Christmas was also on a Saturday as well, but I have something special to observe every year on December 25th. It is my wife Fay's birthday and no, she was not born in a manger. SOL ZELLER
