Let's see, last summer we put together a set of songs for father's remembrance special event:

1. When You and I Were Young, Maggie

2. Gone, Gonna Rise Again

3. Lonesome Dove

4. Nobody's Knows You When You're Down and Out

5. Come Along Home

My point is to spend some time thinking about the person and his/her life and what songs would reflect that.

We also selected several people to tell specific stories and then had an open time for more spontaneous memories.

I've written my own song, "Pastures of Memories,"
but who knows what friends and family will come up with after I reach that farthest shore.
