OK Cats

I have one of the above printers (which may only be available here in the UK) and am having real problems in getting accurate colours out of it.

I have spent hours adjusting the densities, the contrast etc., following all the help topics and experimenting with pictures which I have scanned and so know what the results should be. No success. Blue particulary tends to overpower but cutting it back affects most others.

I'm not expecting a perfect reproduction but I used to come fairly close with my old Lexmark before it gave up the ghost.

Does anyone else have this printer (or possibly the same family) with a good colour reproduction and if so, could they list the colour values for me please?

I am using the right inks, in case you wondered.
