I for one will miss him. I've only known him for three years or so but since I first met him he treated me like an old friend. Big guy, big voice, big heart. He'll be remembered for the cheerful and matter-of-fact way he (and G) dealt with his illness.   At Warwick in '03 I remember sitting with him and Johnny Collins as they discussed their respective ailments.

A fan of cheese, particularly mature Gouda, which he brought back from the Holland trip a year or two ago.

Delighted to hear, Noreen, that he's wearing his T-shirts, particularly the MBS one!
