Look out people, this grabbing govt. want to introduce a new tax for the motorist. The proposal is that all DVLA registered vehicles (inc. those not used on the road, pre -73, SORN reg or undergoing restoration) will be subject to a £4.50 annual fee. This is to help cover the costs of issuing photo licences to UK drivers, as requierd by the EU.
POINT: We already pay 18 odd quid for a photo licence.
POINT: If the EU want British drivers to have photo licences, then the EU should pay.
POINT: What's the betting that the £4.50 will increase to £5.50, then £7.50, then £10 . . . . . .
POINT: The original vehicle registration tax has increased to £38.

They can't get enough out of you, can they?
