When, if ever, will the USA recognise that democracy needs votes to be of more or less equal value. It is at the best idiosyncratic to have a presidential election by an electoral college representative of the states and with votes broadly proportional to their electorates. However, a system which deliberately over-represents the smallest states by over two hundred per cent, is a very poor example to emerging countries.
