many of you know that i have been on and off of the internet radio station www.globalgospelradio.com   for over a year now!
well,i finally have solved my problem of being away from home at night to do the show(even thouigh it was only 5 miles up the road in King,N.C..)
the Good Lord up above has provided funds and technology to set up a branch station in my home now,in Rural Hall,N.C.,U.S.A.!...in fact i did a live broadcast friday night,jan.,7th,for over an hour!
using my home boom box as a temporary cd player,i am able to play lots of good ole blue grass,old time and southern gospel music now and broadcast my show from the comfort of my DEN!
of course downloading the Encoder from the internet,was the biggest thing that had to be done right and so i was blessed to have a young kid, "purter whizz" to do that for me...
now along with some help from the station owner,bill hale,we hooked up everything friday afternoon and got on the air that night!
the original station is located in King,N.C.,U.S.A., and there is also a branch station in Beckley,West Virginia!!!
anyway,i am soon to have a regular cd player that holds 5 cd's and you can program the songs you want to play,plus it will be used for the overnight automation after midnight til 7 am the next morning! (when mother nature calls me to get up and release some fluids,i can add new cd's to replace those already played for the overnight)!
anyway,you can catch me on the air and online around the 9:00 pm hour til midnight most nights EST,as soon as the new cd players arrives...
until then,i will be on an hour or two each night playing Blue Grass,Ole Time and Southern Gospel Music!
even though it's a Gospel radio station,i am allowed to play "reality" songs by any artist! (as long as they do not pertain to drinkin' and cheatin',muderin',etc..)
so,that means if any mudcatter would like me to featuter their cd realease,i will be happy to do so...
just let me know by PM in here and i'll let you know where to send your cd and all the info about it(including songs,musicians,your area where you live in the world,etc..)
