I understood at the time that a female member of the SDS allowed herself to be taken by Capp to his room when he was speaking at the U. of Wisconsin (Madison). He was "up" for oral sex, which she had led him to believe would be provided, and she then accused him of sodomy.

This was done because he had become "reactionary" and it destroyed his reputation.

He later wrote about it in a book I have somewhere and can't find (of course).
