There is indeed a great wealth of trad music in America del Sur. Not being fluent in spanish, I am limited to enjoyment for the instrumental value. Folks down there play many different kinds of stringed instruments, which give the music a much fuller sound than we're accustomed to further north. Maybe someone with a better grasp of theory can explain the phenom more clearly. I think it would be grand it more SA folk were available to 'Catters.
