A few states, Ohio included restarted the programs and it is alive and well here as an alternative to the Job Corps. I've had a couple of my foster teens go to work for the CCC and have done quite well. They build parks, log cabins at the Historical Society, flood control, and even a local theatre renovation. Its a good deal for the kids who take advantage of it as a stepping stone.
