Not exaclty a movie but I was asked about 12 years ago to choreagraph a fight sequence for a French medical dressing advert.

This was filmed in a studio on the south side of the Thames across from Chelsea London and the fight sequence had to be between a man and a woman dressed in soemething resembling Japanese armour.

Rosie and myself used bokken, wooden practice swords which are similar in shape (but not weight)to a Japanese katana.

For armour a standard kendo armour had been taken and adapted and covered with the said product, we also found out later that some French french letter boxes had also been added.

As our faces were covered with masks the cameras had no face shot. It was a knackering day as so many cuts were taken. I saw the end result and right at the end off came the helmets to reveal two beautifull people which were not Rosie or I, we were far too ugly for the French sticking plaster & letter people. But we did get a nice fee for the day.
