Ooops---left out the "morality" of the Bushies and their leader who is thinking that he is the second coming. Their moral stances always amaze me---gray is not in their color spectrum

Just having heard an interview with Sister Prejean re: Death Penalty and her confrontation with Justice(?)Scalia you have to wonder what these people are thinking. Her new book presents the facts of the innocence of the person that Scalia (among others) denied a new trial.

The only saving grace is that so far the vision of the founding fathers has not been totally obliterated.

I enjoyed the last quote---that the good nun finished for the interviewer---"...the last administration that had an intelligent dinner conversation was when Thomas Jefferson dined alone". I paraphrased a bit there.   If you can get to the NPR website you can hear her interview---and her last part describing the execution of someone that was retarded and had been sent to the room before (and afraid of needles) is heartbreaking.
