The US Attorney General appointee, Mr Gonzalez, knows all about what goes on down Texas way. I heard part of his testimony on C-Span rafdio the other day and found it sickening.

When asked about a certain death row inmate's appeal that his court appointed defense attorney slept thru much of the trial, he dismissed it saying that he didn't know anything about that case!!! Now he wants to be Attorney General??? Unbelievable. Poor black kid gets rounded up, cohearsed into a confession, court appointed attorney botches his defense and now he's dead and Mr. Gonzalez says he doesn't know anything about it??? Doesn't instill trust that this guy isn't gonna fall asleeep at the wheel should ne be confirmed...
