Seems to me that the REASON he got almost 51% should be considered. First, the democrats put up a posturing asshole to run against an incumbent president who was in the middle of an unnecessary, illegal war which he started on the basis of a lie, plus he has the support of a large gang of redneck bible pounders who love a theocracy and hate anyone who thinks for himself.
