As is usual on this site, a wonderful and informative thread. Personnally, I would not share Ard Mhaca's admiration for Kenneth McKeeler as a exponent of Burns or indeed anything tradional. A good tenor voice to be sure - but too mathematical and not enough variation. Hardly does jusrice to Burns as other tenors like John McCormack or Christopher Lynch.

But Ard Mhaca - the whole thing is subjective anyway !! Chacun a son gout!!
