For about 25 years I've been using D'Addario J-16s (Phos. Bronze Lights - .053-.012)on my various guitars, but about 4 months ago I was given a set of Elixir Light guage by the manufacturer, and I gotta say that they certainly last! They sounded like a set of J-16s that had been played about a week, and after 4 months of 3-5 gigs per week, they still sound like they're a week old. I'm pretty impressed, and will likely continue using them, as so far they've saved me approx. $30 (figuring that I usually change my strings every 4 weeks @ $7.50 per set).

Those of you who like Phos. bronze should try 'em out.
