On the first morning in our new (406 year old) house, we opened the curtains in the bedroom and the moors outside were pink and red from the sunrise - what an omen! Without thinking or saying anything Jon and I both started singing, 'The Bright Shining morning smiled over the hills with blushes adorning the meadows and rills...' Consequently, that is now firmly bedded in our repetoire.

Another song that has alot of meaning for me is The Bold Fisherman as it was the first song I ever sung out aged 7 years and I learned it, by osmosis, from my aunt.
