As one of the most recent members of Capstan Full Strength, I am sorry to say I only met Chris twice. Both these occasions were within the last year, and he was unfailingly generous, complimentary and interested. It was a privilege to be allowed to sing with the crew at Chris' funeral on Monday, and to witness such warmth, sincerity and depth of feeling. I intend to be part of his living legacy for years to come.
