No problem Seangan, the correct title is Afton Water, and Boab I go back a long way and I remember listening to Kenneth McKellar on the Scottish Home Service in the early 50s, he had a half hour programme on Tuesday night 7-30, and I don`t recall Jean Redpath or Alastair McDonald ever appearing on the programme.
McKellars wireless shows were very popular in the north of Ireland.
Further to the above on looking through John McCormacks discography I found he never recorded Afton Water.
