I'm interested in the pathways of the "old" songs (and yes "Songcatcher" was interesting) from the UK, and how they've developed in the US.
I'm also always interested in finding (or them finding me) new songs to sing!
Is the tradition of unaccompanied women's song as strong in mountain music as it is in celtic?....and (please) given that some may be a little obscure - what are some sweet ballad titles to look for?
