I do not ask that you fulfill my dreams,
But that you live your own: I want your smile
Far more than I can say. My hope now seems
To be to see you happy. Are dreams trial,
To test my own resolve? I find you are
Kind, generous, and beautiful, yet know
I should not let desire this vision mar.
Still, I shall dream, and hope I might love show.
I do not ask that you give heart, nor send
More of your dreams than you might wish. I've found
Your eyes and smile enough to my dream fill.
You are sweet inspiration, muse, a blend
Of angel and my dreams. My heart is bound
By thought of your eyes' glance. Do what you will.
