Subject: What type of guitar do I buy?
I need help. I'm going to buy my husband a guitar for his birthday. He's never played before but he's gonna take lessons. Anyway, There's this guitar on a tv infomercial where the guitar is acoustical and it can be electric. Which may be a good thing for a beginner, but I don't think my husband would like how it looks. He's not into the country thing and that's what this guitar looks like. He's into rock so I imagine he would rather have a "rockers" guitar. What is the actual difference between the 2 besides the look? I'm just so confused. This will be his first guitar so if anyone could tell me what the best kind to get is, I would appreciate it. Thank You.
