Well - John from Hull has never been anything but good natured as far as I can tell. MG wants to hurt. Joe is just trying to keep it all at a dull roar.

I, too, get caught up in the MG thing. Cowardly people who continually change their identity and use insults and vile language to cover their ignorance are nothing more than bullies. I know it is best to ignore him but at the same time I want to stand up to him and slap him back. I'll continue to try to ignore him as I do think he is quite dangerous and possibly mentally ill. At least, he seems to enjoy coming across that way.

And yeah, of course the thread has to be closed. The basic premise of the thread is personal attack. I don't care who's right or who's wrong - we just need to have them stop, and that means taking action against all combatants. I don't want to bother sorting out cute personal attacks from not-so-cute personal attacks. Personal attacks have been a problem here at Mudcat for a long, long time.
Sometimes it seems like a losing battle.
