I must confess I had a lump in my throat(several lumps actually) when I read the messages from people telling others how much the song has meant to them. I am still performing and writing. My wife & kids & I and have been living in Winter Park FL (suburb of Orlando) since 1985 by way of Nashville (where I am the eagle was recorded)by way of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. If any of you have been there then you will know where the inspiration for the song came from.
